At the Glengarry Castle Hotel the evening meal is a daily highlight, the menu changes daily but is always based on traditional recipes using fresh local produce.


Dinner £29.00 inclusive of V.A.T.

 

Warm Cheese pastry tartlet filled with smoked Haddock and topped with poached Egg and Cheese sauce

Smoked Argyll Ham enhanced by Cumberland sauce, served with Oatcakes

Char-grilled Mediterranean Vegetable terrine with fresh salad leaves (v)


Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup

Blackcurrant Sorbet (v)


Baked fillet of Rainbow Trout with and Almond crust, accompanied by our Almond cream and Rosemary sauce

Roast fillet of Pork complemented by wild Mushrooms in roasted Garlic jus

Breast of Highland Pheasant wrapped in Bacon, served with Apple and Cinnamon in a Red Wine sauce

Broccoli, Feta Cheese and Red Onion Quiche (v)

Baked Vanilla Cheesecake served with mixed Berries

Amaretti Amaretto Ice-cream

Dark Chocolate and Brandy Mousse topped with a swirl of cream

Plate of tropical fruits: Mango, Papaya, Passionfruit and Pineapple

Tonight's fine Scottish Cheeses are: Dunsyre Blue(blue vein cows milk cheese from Lanarkshire) and Letterfinlay smoked (locally oak smoked mild cheddar)
